Covid and De-Stress Massage

Updated: Dec 21, 2021

Are you Working From Home Again ? Massage addresses all the symptoms associated with spending long hours working at your desk from home or in the office, the benefit’s include :

•relief from head, neck and backaches, •will relieve stress and muscular tension • increase flexibility, providing relaxation to the affected muscles as well as the body as a whole.

• improve concentration, mental alertness, and reduces migraines. •Massage therapy relaxes muscle tissue, which reduces painful contractions and spasms. •Massage will also reduce nerve compression. When muscles are contracted, they might sometimes compress the nerves around them, causing such conditions as sciatica. Don’t forget the beauty effects, where improved circulation revives the skin and complexion, with a change in colour that is noticeable almost instantly.

If there's ever been a time to hire a massage therapist, it's right now:

Stress, Anxiety, Body Aches and Pains are at an all-time high after a year spent adjusting to the new norm and with the cost of living sky rocketing with no end in site its still important to put some time aside to look after you.

Risk Assessments: I will be doing a risk assessment before each treatment, where I consider the health of each client and also how you will travel to your appointment with me.

Length of Treatment:

The longest length of time any client can be in the treatment room for now is 90 minutes.

Break between Clients:

I need to have a 20-minute break between each client to thoroughly clean my facilities. This includes hard surfaces/ door handles and furniture. Please respect these timings and bear in mind our catch-ups will not be quite as long as usual as a result.

Face Masks:

Face masks are required in enclosed spaces, so at this time I will be wearing PPE , including a mask. Please also come with your own mask. If you arrive without yours I will provide you with one. This is because of the risk of transmission from asymptomatic people, even if we both feel and look fit and healthy. Hand Sanitising and Washing: I will have lots of hand sanitiser and soap for you to use and I will prompt you on when to use these.

I will skip the facial.
